On January 29-30, 2018, Dr. Brian Mandell, Division Director for Curriculum & Communications, will be the Keynote speaker at the annual conference of SECO--the Ohio Chapter of the National Science Teachers Association--where he will talk about the work of the Smithsonian Science Education Center's efforts to research and develop curriculum materials that address the five strands of the conference: (1) design and engineering principles; (2) resources for inquiry-learning; (3) earth, life, and physical science content; (4) the integration of arts and literacy into science curriculum; and, (5) the integration of math and technology into science teaching.
