Join the Smithsonian Science Education Center and the National Museum of African American History and Culture for a dynamic, hands-on celebration of science, history, and culture. To commemorate the Smithsonian Science Education Center’s 40th anniversary, this public event invites learners of all ages to explore interactive science activities drawn from the center’s resources and digital materials. Visitors will also engage with materials developed by the National Museum of African American History and Culture that lead students through STEM principles and practices, grounded in stories of African American achievement. Come experience how science, learning, and storytelling come together in meaningful ways.
